Healing through Laughter and Lightness

We are professional healthcare clowns, offering support to facilitate emotional well-being in hospitals and economically deprived areas. Through therapeutic games, we help people reconnect with their inner joy and build resilience.

Clowning

Question mark.png

One definition of clowning is that it is “a child-like state of generosity and spontaneity”. Healthcare clowning, or medical clowning, is a form of expressive therapy that uses the skills and techniques of professional clowns to support and comfort patients, caregivers and doctors and other staff in hospitals. The games clown doctors play help reduce anxiety and stress, and bring lightness and joy.

Testimonials

Dr Sanjay K S, Director,  Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health (IGICH), Bangalore

Doctor Parrots has had a strong psychosocial effect on the patients, caregivers and our staff. Their presence gives them energy and vitality so they can recover and become more resilient. For these reasons, I am deeply grateful to The Doctor Parrots Organization for the support they have been providing since 2023.
